Although there are advertisements for cheap divorces in Nevada, with luring numbers as low as $199, divorce is not “cheap.” In Clark County, the filing fees alone will cost about $300.
Despite this modern age of technology, where online resources seem to be everywhere, you should still consult with an attorney about your divorce. Divorce may be one of the most significant events in your life because a decree of divorce has legal consequences. As such, you should not rely on general information found on the internet nor should you put your confidence in people unauthorized to practice law.
